I had not asked God, but he did. And Gesabele said that he would die the same way. Terrified, he fled, and was so anxious to beg for death itself.
Moses also designated to free the Jews from the slavery of Pharaoh, he received a call in circumstances not pleasing.
In our call to a higher level, we have to go through the processes, we encounter problems where we might ask: " But where is God?".
So how to survive, because when problems come, they often do as a battalion, more than one, overlapping?
Niente panico. Niente richieste a idoli: Dio solo salva.
Conosci i tuoi sentimenti Think gasoline
hand. Feelings can be "in reserve". If we trust the needle, say seeing red "is over the gas and go down with the small tank, maybe in the car when there is still enough gas to get to the gas station. In anger or anxiety are taking wrong decisions. Elijah has trusted his sense of panic to the point of wanting to kill himself. It 'the same man who managed to bring down fire from heaven! Yet he forgot to pray. So: do not take decisions but PLEASE!
know your body
During the trouble, we often fail to sleep, and so is even worse, is that we think about the problem, instead of sleeping. The Lord says: "Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Do you think Elijah was able to sleep in spite of his troubles! (1 Kings 19:1-12). If you do not care about the needs of your body, he collapses!
Know your friends
For Elijah it is said, "want to kill you." Elijah had a few friends, he did not trust a lot of people around him. He had a servant with him, but sent him away on the road. We always need friends with whom to talk and share, and there is a time when one must be available to those in need. When come the problems, then, not in isolation!
Know your God
Elijah thought that God had abandoned him, but he was deeply close and continued to feed him and support him. We also think of Jesus, and try to remember: when there was a storm in the lake, Jesus walked on water .... It was not on the boat! It was in the midst of the storm. You may also feel alone, desperate, trying to pull the boat out of the water with a teaspoon, but it is he who is in the midst of the storm, and you're reaching out, asking you to walk on water just like Peter. If you trust Him, if you look at him, not sinking.
In conclusion ... no matter what terrible situation you're living, if you trust in God, you walk!
Whatever you're carrying the cross, because the Lord is in you has the potential to meet that burden. Isaiah 54:10-17
